Bursting My Adultsmart Adult Blog Australia Cherry!
Wow, that headline probably gave you the impression that I’m going to share a touching story about a boy’s journey to adulthood. Sorry to disappoint, but this is actually my first attempt at blogging.
Yep, you’re reading the words of a blog newbie!
To be honest, I’ve never really had the urge to speak my mind on a blog before. But let’s shift the focus to me for a second.
I’m a 29-year-old parent with two adorable kids – Amelia (4) and Tristian (2). They mean everything to me. I was in a long-term relationship for almost 6 years, but things didn’t work out in the end.
There’s very little that’s interesting about me, but if I had to provide some background about me, should you follow my stories…
A Little Bit About Me
So, I went to The McDonald College for my HSC, which is a school that focuses on performing arts. I picked up a bit of French while I was there – you know, the language of love and all that. After I graduated, I pursued an acting career and got to be in commercials, music videos, and even a feature film.
But when I turned 19, I realized that I wasn’t emotionally deep enough to be a successful actor. So I left the city and my dreams behind to grow a bit as a person. It’s been 10 years since then, and life has definitely thrown me some curveballs.
I’ve experienced love and happiness so intensely, that it made my heart feel like it would burst. I’ve also gone through some pretty dark times that made me question if living was even worth it.
Despite all of that, I’m still standing. Life may have knocked me down a few times, but it hasn’t broken me (although there were a couple of close calls).
I get asked a lot why I work at an adult store. Honestly, it’s because I like making people happy. Sure, some folks try to take advantage of that, but that’s just how it goes.
I’m all about being the change I want to see in the world, you know?
Anyway, I’ve always been a bit of a weirdo. I never really fit in with the norms, but that’s cool with me.
Who wants to be normal, anyway?
When I was 17, I had a major realization that confidence is just a big ol’ lie. So, I decided to be confident, even if I wasn’t feeling it. As long as no one caught on, I was good to go. But let’s get to the juicy stuff – my history.
This new found confidence led me to my first girlfriend and you guessed it, the loss of my virginity. But that’s a story for another time…
Since then, I’ve developed what could be called a respectable number of sexual partners and experiences. Yes, I’m a little bit of a f**kboy, but the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right?
I’m A Bit Of A Fuck Boy – But The First Step To Recovery Is Admitting It
I’m not planning on locking myself away until I find “the one,” but I’m starting to think I deserve more than just mind-blowing sex. I want a deeper connection – something spiritual, you know?
Of course, I’m worried my tendency to self-sabotage might ruin things, like it did in my last serious relationship. But hey, that’s life, right?
Time to move on and try something new. I’m ready to trust and be open to new experiences. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but I’m willing to give it a shot!
My first step was quitting my shitty, oppressive job for something that actually makes me happy. Which is what led me here, sitting at The Adult Lifestyle Centre. Surrounded by things that make people happy writing these words for you.
Advice From A 29 Year Old Adult Lifestyle Consultant
Some words of advice from a 29 year old with delusions of wisdom. You deserve to be as happy as you can be, and no one but you can stop that from happening. Every day you spend not being as happy and fulfilled as you can be, is a day wasted that you will never get back.
So do it.
Quit that job you hate.
Ask out that guy you like.
Call out people that are mistreating you.
Live!!!
Because when it’s all said and done, we enter this world alone and crying. How you leave it is entirely up to you.
Your friendly neighbourhood vibe salesman
