What sparked the idea for Le Wand, and how has your journey been from the start until now?
ASR: I’ve always been a personal fan of wand massagers. I think they’re a versatile, powerhouse vibrator. It became a personal goal to elevate the wand category, to make it feel sexier (less medical), to give it features that could make it more user-friendly, and to add high quality attachments that empowered more types of play. Le Wand was well received early on and it’s been incredible to watch the brand grow, and bring some renewed excitement to a category that had become stale.
What’s the story behind the name Le Wand and how it reflects your brand’s personality?
ASR: Le Wand is a simple french term meaning “The Wand”. It embodies our mission to take all the key product attributes from wands on the market and make them available in one incredible product.

What has been the most challenging aspect of building and growing the Le Wand brand?
ASR: The most challenging aspect of building a brand that prides itself on quality and design is convincing consumers that paying a premium price is worthwhile. We’ve strived to create a product line of “buy once, buy well” items that live up to the hype and last a very long time. It can be a bummer when folks miss the bigger picture of how paying a little more in the beginning can provide a longer life with an item that has a higher performance standard.
How does Le Wand contribute to breaking down the stigma surrounding the use of sexual wellness products?
ASR: We always joke that we make vibrators that can be repurposed as back massagers, not the other way around. It’s with this same fun, sex-positive attitude that we create our pleasure guides, social content, blog articles, educator partnerships and marketing campaigns. We’re not ashamed to be a product designed as a masturbation or sex tool and that’s reflected in all of our communication.
How do you incorporate customer feedback into the development of new products?
ASR: Believe it or not, we’re in our 8th version of the Le Wand OG Rechargeable massager. Customer feedback was incorporated into each of the product updates, including vibration strength, noise level and ease of button use. We truly want our product to be the best, which means listening and responding to what our customers want. We even have a product release at the end of 2024 that was developed in response to overwhelming customer requests.

What are the coolest features of Le Wand products that make them a must-have?
ASR: My favourite feature is how the weight of the product is focused in the top part of the wand (not the handle). I also love that users don’t feel vibration when holding the wand handle. Both of these lesser discussed features make it much more comfortable to use.
I really believe achieving pleasure shouldn’t be a pain… unless you like that sort of thing.

If Le Wand could collaborate with any brand, who would it be and why?
ASR: Skims. It’s such a disruptor brand that really embraces inclusivity. I feel that their brand values and customer dedication align with ours.
They’re also just really cool.
What are some self-care rituals or routines you recommend incorporating Le Wand products into?
ASR: Masturbation is self-care in my book, so that’s an obvious ritual recommendation. After a long day at the office, I love using my wand for a neck and back massage. If I’m really tense, I’ll add on our Shiatsu attachment and nice warming lube. When I was nursing my daughter, I used my wand to help alleviate pain in my breasts. Plus the white noise of the motor helped keep the baby asleep. Double win!
What advice would you give to someone who is new to using massagers and wants to explore their options?
ASR: Wand massagers feel great on many, many parts of the body. Use a wand to get help with pain in sore areas and enhance pleasure by using a wand anywhere you would put fingers or a tongue during intimate play.
