It is becoming an undeniable truth that technology is infusing itself with our everyday lives in obvious and subtle ways. From how we communicate with each other, to the way we work, the jobs we do and how we exist in our own homes. The world is changing and it is increasingly geared towards smart technology and automation. This is no different for the sex toy industry.
Walking into one of our Oh Zone Adult Lifestyle Centres shows the development and advancements in adult toys. A brand we carry that I feel highlights this is our SenseMax Range. SenseMax is a Virtual Reality (VR) based system that uses a headset and matching toys to provide the user with the ultimate VR sexual/pleasure experience.
What is VR?
Virtual Reality or VR, has been around in one form or another since the 1950’s but it became wildly popular in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s with the commercial realises of the SEGA VR and the Power Glove. These were sold as accessories to game consoles, and while they were popular, they were also seen as a novelty with limited games and a somewhat clunky interface.
Interest in VR peaked again in recent years when development of Oculus Rift VR began promising a fully immersive and realistic VR experience that was to extend beyond video games and find a use in our everyday lives (Facebook liked the sound of this and purchased Oculus in 2014 for $2 Billion.) Other big teach companies began to invest millions in the area (Samsung, Apple, Sony, Amazon) which is seeing an incredible growth in the available technologies making it more affordable for both companies and the end user.
What is SenseMax?
It was out of this boom the SenseMax VR system was born. Utilising a head set paired with specialised adult toys and an app to create “the Sense Ecosystem with interactive content provided by the SenseNow app to provide a holistic sensual/pleasure experience”. The range includes:
Sense VR
This is the head set in the SenseMax Range. You are able to slide your phone in the front of the headset and view specialised content through the SenseMax App.
SenseVibe
This is the vibrator in the SenseMax Range. Dual motored and waterproof this vibe charges when it is put back into its storage case. The red version (pictured above) also has a warming function.
SenseTube
This is a type of mens masturbator or stroker in the range that vibrates. The SenseTube also syncs with the App to closely simulate the sensations being shown on the display.
SenseBand
This band is to be worn by the man when he masturbates. This allows, like the SenseTube, the actions and pace to sync with the action on the display creating a truly immersive experience.
The magic of SenseMax Range is not just VR and sex toys but that it is a system that actually syncs the content you are seeing through the headset and to the pace you are setting with your toy or wrist band (SenseTube and SenseBand only). This means that it doesn’t matter what you are in the mood for the SenseMax Range is right there with you. Now if VR isn’t your thing both the SenseTube and SenseVibe can be used on their own without the headset or App. But weather it is your thing or not, I think we can all agree that technology has come a long way and is going a long way to make us cum.
